How inspiredcommercial SIA Started

We noticed something. Seniors who wanted to cycle weren't finding routes that matched their pace or their preferences.

The Beginning

Back in 2019, we realized that most cycling routes in Latvia were either too challenging or didn't showcase the real charm of our countryside. inspiredcommercial SIA emerged from a simple question: what if we designed routes specifically for seniors who wanted to experience cycling without stress? We weren't interested in speed records or fitness challenges. We wanted to create something different — leisurely rides that celebrate the landscape, include regular stops, and prioritize comfort above all else.

Why This Route Matters

The Cēsis to Āraišu Lake loop isn't complicated. That's the point. You're riding mostly on flat farm roads with occasional gentle rises. Traffic is minimal. The route connects Cēsis — a charming town with real history — to Āraišu Lake, one of Latvia's most beautiful lakes. Along the way, you're passing through authentic countryside. Not manicured. Not touristy. Real. You'll see working farms, encounter locals who wave from their porches, and discover quiet spots perfect for lunch or photography. We've included stops at a local dairy farm where you can taste fresh cheese, a family-run café in a converted barn, and a lakeside picnic area with benches facing the water. The route returns you to Cēsis by late afternoon, ready to relax and reflect on what you've experienced.
